For those who have been doing SUP yoga for some time and want to paddle and go on an adventure... this is the session for you!
We paddle from Riells to the town’s beach, where we hold the session.
This is a very gentle and deep session to relax the body and mind which ends with an extra-long and deserved savasana.
We then enjoy breakfast on the boards with the option of swimming and/or snorkelling. Finally, we paddle back to Riells.
If you’ve already attended a SUP yoga session, you enjoy the paddling and are curious and want to explore... you don’t want to miss this session.
It is perfect for those who like paddling and want to spend the morning exploring the Costa Brava as part of a group.
This session is the longest and, perhaps, the most tiring.
With this in mind, after the yoga session, the instructor has everything needed for a floating breakfast which will give us the energy required to paddle back.
It is important for this session to start promptly, normally a few minutes before the sun rises as this is when the sea is calmest and free of wind, which means paddling is easier and safer.
The good thing about an early start - even if it feels difficult at times - is that we can see the day start from the water.

Passionate about wanting to understand and support every human being and make this world a calming place. Her most recent training course was in Portugal. She completed the YTT 300 in Ayurveda with a focus on Yoga for Trauma.
After several years of giving classes in l’Escala and online, she decided to grow her desire to share, and she created El Refugi.
No, the price of the class include all the necessary equipment.
We use boards specially created for the practice of SUP yoga. They are larger than standard boards, meaning they float better and are more stable. They are like a mat… but they float!
Comfortable clothing you don’t mind getting wet such as a swimsuit or bikini. Whatever you prefer to wear when doing yoga.
Yes. Each day we choose where to create the floating studio.
Depending on the sea and wind conditions and the session itself, it can take place close to the shore where we can touch the floor when we are in the water.
We also have life jackets for anyone who wants one.
Of course, you don’t need to have done yoga before. During the session, we always offer various options so that we can do yoga safely and comfortably at all times.
No problem. You don’t need any experience. Before the class starts, we’ll tell you how to use the board and move around on it safely. And, with practice, you’ll gradually feel safer and more comfortable.
You can but we recommend you enjoy the session; at the end of the session, we always leave time to take photos and videos and paddle. The instructor will have a camera.
No, all you need is a willingness to enjoy the experience.
This will depend on the injury. It is very important that you tell the instructor what injury you have before starting.
It would be best to ask your doctor what they recommend and during the session we can give you other options to suit what your body needs.
We recommend you don’t do SUP yoga during this magical time since any fall or incorrect movement on the board could cause physical harm which it would be better not to risk.
Always arrive 5 or 10 minutes before the class so we can all leave together at the agreed time and you have time to get changed and prepare.
The maximum waiting time is 5 minutes since we are a group and there are often sessions afterwards.
The instructor will always call before leaving the studio to confirm if you are on your way and you may be able to head straight to the beach.
Anything you don’t need for the session or a change of clothes can be left in the studio.
We check the weather forecast daily, specifically the wind and sea conditions.
If the forecast is bad, we cancel or advise you of the weather conditions in advance and give you the option of going ahead with a yoga session in the studio at the same time and paying the cost of a normal yoga class.
